From the Riceland Kitchen: How to Use Whole Grain Seasoned Fish Breading

Posted by

May is Celiac Awareness Month, and we know how difficult it is for people battling Celiac disease to find truly gluten-free foods.

What is Celiac Disease?

According to BeyondCeliac.org, Celiac Disease is a serious genetic autoimmune disease. It is triggered by consuming a protein called gluten, which is found in wheat, barley, and rye.  Rice is naturally gluten free. So it is perfect choice for Celiac patients and people with gluten sensitivity. We recently added a new product to our line up: Riceland Whole Grain Seasoned Fish Breading.

Riceland's Whole Grain Seasoned Fish Breading is produced from whole grain brown rice using our proprietary process. Unlike traditional flours or breading, it provides a unique texture and appearance to a wide range of fried or baked fish and seafood. Our breading is perfectly seasoned with a mild blend of spices including garlic and freshly ground black pepper. It is gluten-free, soy-free, corn-free, and dairy-free.

While it is ideal for cooking up crispy catfish and seafood, it is also delicious when used for baked seafood dishes, too. Check out a couple of our favorite recipes featuring our gluten-free Whole Grain Seasoned Fish Breading.

Baked Parmesan Glazed Salmon

Ranch Fried Catfish Nuggets

Our Whole Grain Seasoned Fish Breading is a way to enjoy crispy fried or baked seafood without the worry of gluten.
